We have a variety of ways that students can volunteer with the Wesley Foundation:

Abba Java Coffeehouse offers a unique opportunity for students. The mission of Abba Java is to be a “home away from home” for Penn State students. You will be able to interact with students of all backgrounds while you volunteer your time. You will be responsible for making and serving coffee, keeping the counter full of food and clean, wiping tables, filling snack baskets, and most importantly, being a friendly face!

Wesley’s Closet was started by a Penn State student 8 years ago and continues to give away gently used coats & winter accessories (hats, scarves, gloves) as well as new socks + underwear. Wesley’s Closet is open once a month on Saturday from 9am-12pm (10/5, 11/9, 12/7, 1/4, 2/1).

Student organizations/clubs can volunteer together when needs arise; if you are looking to volunteer as a group, please contact us at volunteer.abbajava@gmail.com
