Abba Java Coffeehouse

a ministry of the Wesley Foundation at Penn State

St. Paul’s United Methodist Church & Wesley Foundation

located at the corner of Locust Lane & Calder Way

We are a FREE student coffeehouse and offer safe study space for students where one can enjoy locally roasted coffee, fair trade tea, food, and Wi-Fi. You will find quiet study spaces as well as large coffeehouse rooms, a prayer chapel, and meeting space for groups/student orgs to reserve.

The mission of Abba Java is to be a “home away from home” for Penn State Students. We welcome people from all faiths, backgrounds, and identities. We are connected with St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, which is part of the Christian tradition, and the Susquehanna Conference of the United Methodist Church. Our community volunteers are often connected with St. Paul’s or other faith communities within the State College community.

Orders must be placed by Monday at 3pm and will be available for pickup from Tuesday at 11am - Thursday at 5pm.

Orders will require your PSU student email; duplicate orders will not be filled.

Order here!

Abba Java has a food pantry area which includes boxed/canned items as well as hygiene/household items. We’ve also added a refrigerator/freezer for additional items - check the whiteboard on the door for a list of what’s inside.

The pantry is OPEN during the summer and weekly we receive fresh vegetables, eggs, and milk.
